Dr. Ramin Bagheri, MD

Dr. Ramin Bagheri is extremely professional, kind and thoughtful. He took as much time that I needed answering my questions and carefully explaining why I was having those symptoms. He gave me several options to treat it. I decided to have surgery and everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend him.

I had an L4/5 Spine Fusion done. The bones never did fuse back together. During a second opinion by another doctor, X-rays showed that only my left side had a cadaver bone graph, when it should have been placed on both the left and right side. Doctor B has plenty of excuses, and only see's things from his point of view. I would be Leary to have to have a surgical procedure conducted by him.

A rare combination of a very caring person and excellent surgeon. It has been my experience these two qualities are often mutually exclusive. Could not give a higher recommendation.

Dr. Ramin Bagheri, I cried the whole way home from my 1st appt with this Doctor. I actually in desperation really tried to research a good orthopedic that might be able to help me with my chronic debilitating back pain. I had done it all, injections, Therapy, pills, MRIs, X-rays, you name it for years. You would think with the title of this company SAN DIEGO CENTER FOR SPINAL DISORDERS, I might finally be able to get some kind of answers to my pain ailment, something. Instead what I got was an arrogant un-passionate licensed Orthopedic MD, (a joke) Dr. Raman Bagheri (a joke). He said, based on my almost 1 year old MRI that the pain that drives me to tears on a daily basis has nothing to do with my spine. (even though the office never ordered the X-rays of recent I indicated to them & he never looked at the 14 pages of paperwork they had me fill out so he could be familiar with my condition, obvious based on his questions to me).No listening, no feeling instead just meaningless… comparisons like, If I took a 100 people, the same age as you, and looked at their spine 50% would most likely have bulging discs and or a spine like you. Another words, its normal to be miserable. He didnt care and it was quite obvious. He also said your spine looks better than mine . I had un-manageable back pain progressing for years along with umpteen exams & procedures until finally an MRI turned up my herniated discs. This guy new nothing and so Ok, maybe felt he couldnt help me, but I asked with a pleading tension and eyes swelling with tears, can you refer me to someone? At one point he said, I dont want to argue when I was just trying to get an answer to my questions, asking him for help, something, anything! No, not even a suggestion, something, I left with NOTHING, NO HOPE. HE MADE ME FEEL LIKE A PIECE OF WORTHLESS NOTHING. If you have chronic back pain, and the very first ever diagnosis was herniated discs, Im sorry, its s something to do with my back and I dont have to be a physician to get it! and please can you help or tell me where to go? Nothing, I left with absolutely NOTHING & no hope. I almost forgot, he said I dont think anyone will ever really be able to tell were your pain is coming from! I got nothing but a head ache from crying all the way home and a triple back ache after being stuck in traffic, charged for parking after all this even with the validation of the ticket and didnt leave with any kind of any hope or even a suggestion. (note: I have never in my life after being a mother of 18 years, a wife & all the physicians including mine have ever felt compelled to waste my time to share this with others. This cant go on!!!! Hes a worthless rookie. Are there any good ones? Please let me know!!!

Dr. Bagheri was awesome. He really truly listened to me describe my symptoms and did a bang up job talking through my options with me. I felt a strong connection with him...like I was the only patient he had all day or all week for that matter. Great physician care! I highly highly recommend him.
