Dr. Ramin Cyrus Jamm, MD

My overall experience was horrible and stressful. He ran completely bogus tests during my pregnancy, has horrible bedside manner and only cares about running up a bill. During stress tests he told me my baby "failed" his tests multiple times because my baby was moving too much and his ancient technology couldn't track the heartrate. He sent me to the main hospital two different time (got stuck with fat bills) to justify charging my insurance for all these tests. Even the main Queens hospital staff kept asking why I was coming to them and why Jamm was running so many tests on me because my baby and I were perfectly healthy. Overall he caused me more stress and grief and money that I ever expected. I would NEVER go to him again and would never recommend him to anyone. Horrible. His staff even has a office manager who they constantly complain to about him. Just no!

Dr Jamm been my doctor for about 8 years now. He always takes the time to explain and listen to my concerns, explains well my results. He gives me pamplet to take home and read about it. The staff are great and very friendly. I would recommend to anyone to see him.

Dr.Jamm doesn’t care about his patients or their concerns. He just looks at what will put $$$ in his pocket. He will make you take extensive tests that are not needed just to rack up your bill

Found his approach cold. Doesn't truly listen to concerns. Gives you the impression he is but discounts them...makes you question yourself. We know our bodies and we know when it is off. He will only go by numbers and not look deeper. My health is too important to me and life is too short to have to try to convince a doctor about your issues.

I found he lacked caring, concern and empathy. This over a course of a few years. I will even say he was rude on a few occasions. I've since changed doctors and am very happy. I strongly suggest you find another doctor.

Saw him from the time he took over the practice of Dr Lockwood Young upon retirement. I had a couple of other doctors try to recommend other GYN instead of Dr Jamm but I continued on. Fast forward and I have the following comments. For an annual checkup and bone density scan, all is fine. It's when you have an issue that becomes tricky. It took me over 6 months with my issue and various tests at his office and still he had no diagnosis to what was happening. It was always "it could be this or that" then asked me if I wanted more tests. Yes, he asked me. He even made it seem that because he didn't have actual tests providing proof to my claims, that "it just couldn't be happening". Being concerned with my ongoing issue, I decided to seek another GYN. I actually had a diagnosis on my first visit to this new doctor and the matter taken care of. Always go for a second opinion or move on to another doctor if you feel you are going around in circles as was my experience.

I came to this office wide-eyed and excited! When I first initially made my appointment, I reminded Lisa that I had to be at work at 4. She said they would take care of me quickly because I informed her that I had to get to work. She scheduled me for a 2:30 appointment. I came to the office and they made me wait an hour to see the doctor. I reminded everyone in the office that I had work and that I can come back. EVERYONE insisted they see me and not to come back. My blood is boiling just thinking about this visit.. The doctor sees me and requires me to take all these test. I reminded the doctor that I wanted to take it easy, and not take a lot of test at the moment because I DON'T HAVE THE FUNDS! He insisted that I take all the test. They send me to the lab I get my blood drawn seven times and get stuck with a FAT BILL... By the time I finish with everything it is half an hour past 4. I tell the office that I'd like to see another OBGYN, and that I would like to just get my… medical information. I again tell Lisa that I don't have the funds to pay for more visit... She tells me that they have to check me up before they give me my paperwork. They give me a bogus check up, with NO NEW INFORMATION and charge me AGAIN! I beg Lisa, telling her I don't have the funds. "Please Lisa! I need this money"... Lisa just looks at me and says "I'm sorry there's nothing I can do, you have to pay for this". I tell her, "Lisa I NEED this money"... and Lisa just looks at me and shrugs. When you say classless, unprofessional, and uncalled for this is it. I am just so hurt... I am just soo soo soo hurt by everyone in this office. I trusted you all, explained my situation, but I feel like everyone just took advantage of me. This does not express how hurt I am by this office. This doctor and his staff.

Dr. Jamm is so intelligent and thorough ! He has been my doctor since I was pregnant with my son and he and his entire staff go above and beyond in regards to helpfulness and professionalism.

Dr Jamm is great. He has a pleasant and helpful manner and his staff are very nice too. I would highly recommend Dr Jamm for all your gynecological needs.

Dr. Jamm is a very courteous and thorough doctor. I trust him to give me the best of care.
