Dr. Ramin Tayani

I was denied service because I did not wear a mask into the office. Today, at the Tayani Institute, 653 Camio De Los Mares, Suite 103, in San Clemente, CA, I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment and was greeted by a very RUDE office assistant/manager. She didn't greet me by saying "welcome to Tayani Institute", but my welcome was, “do you have a mask?” I said, no I do not. She said, "There's a sign on the door! Can't you read Sir?" I said if I need one can you please provide me with one. She said, “Yes, for $2.00”. There's a sign on the door! That we charge $2.00 for masks. I said, I am paying for an office visit, and you want to charge me $2.00 for a mask. I said I am not going to buy a mask for $2.00, so she denied me service. So, I walked out and because of the the employee’s rudeness to me, I wanted to share my feedback with those thinking about coming to Tayani Institute. Being denied service from a healthcare facility because I do not have a mask is a violation and… they should have provide me a mask without a fee! I received several SMS alerts regarding my appointment, and there was NO mention that masks were mandatory, also received a voice announcement call asking me to confirm my appointment. Again, that voice announcement didn't mention anything about mandatory masks. It also didn't mentioned that if I didn't wear a mask I would be denied service.

He made my healthy eye to worse and ugliest eye. I ended up with double vision and cross eyes. He couldn’t even fix it with the second surgery, then he stopped showing up to my appointments and didn’t even care that he did this to me

Dr Tayani and his staff are amazing. He did surgery on my eyes and they turned out wonderful. I'm so happy with the results. Everything from start to finish have been so easy. I will definitely be referring people to him. Thank you, Shirley Garcia

I can't speak for the competency of the professionals at the San Diego Eye Care Center, but I never saw one because of the incompetency of the scheduling staff since it became the Tayani Institute. I specifically scheduled an appointment there, because I found on my insurance website AND was told over the phone that they accepted my eye care insurance for Dr. Long. HOWEVER, when I got there after waiting a week for my appointment, it turns out that the Tayani Institute does not take my insurance for Dr. Long AT THE OCEANSIDE LOCATION. I was offered the option of driving to their San Clemente office where they do accept my insurance. This is no way to run a eye care corporation Dr. Tayani! Don't bother making an appointment at the Tayani Institute if you don't want to find out your insurance is no good when you show up for your appointment.

I'd give him a zero on f I could. Went in for melona surgery and my face will never be the same... I'm deformed looking.....I learned a valuable lesson...always get a second opinion...

No good...I would never return ...

After going thru first meeting and exams ordered by Dr Tayani few months ago no one followed up or updated me regarding "whats next". i.e is the surgery approved by the insurance, did the ordered exams warrants surgery, what is the doctor's opinion. I called twice, the staff or the surgical coordinator did not return my calls. On the third call the lady staff did not know what the absentee clerk info about me and was told me that I will be called the day after. Until now I am still waiting for the mercy of this surgical coordinator to call and tell me what is going on. This experience is somewhat scary -- what if surgery has been done and you could not reach out anyone from the this clinic or for simple straight answers. This is many months now.

Dr Tayani and his staff are the best! Dr Tayani did an amazing job and his follow up care was excellent. I have highly recommended him to my friends and family.
