Very condescending towards parents. No bedside manner. She acts annoyed at you for even coming.

Saw this doctor a couple of times for my 15 year old who has really been struggling with stomach issues and pain. She acted as though it was all in her head, even though shes sick in the bathroom for hours. Basically told my daughter she needed to work on calming down - a 15 year old in 10th grade.The whole visit, we felt as though we were being talked down to. Her tone, especially towards my child, was incredibly condescending. Her office staff are incredibly rude, spoke to me like I was dirt on their shoes, and made unnecessary mistakes, delaying important procedures. We are leaving this office to find a more compassionate doctor and staff.

Sent us home because she refused to acknowledge on going problems just because there was no flare up happening in the moment but has doused hospital trips. Felt very belittled the whole time with smart remarks made about not needing to be there

Very condescending with horrible bedside manner. Sent us out after laughing in our faces and refusing to acknowledge an ongoing problem or taking time to listen to concerns.

My 17 year old has been throwing up almost daily and in an attempt to communicate to the doctor what was happening, the doctor was dismissive of her and not willing to listen to her concerns. Her bedside manner was zero and she had no empathy for a child who was trying to get help with an ongoing problem. I might add that this provider works at a children’s hospital facility, so the fact that a child is describing her symptoms should be the most important thing for the doctor to be doing.

We just had a great visit with this dr. She was patient and very thorough. We explored all options, she answered all my questions and agree with our steps moving forward.

Dr. Ammoury definitely overcharged me during the visit. I am a physician myself and know the cost of appointments. She spent 10 minutes with my daughter and charged me for a 30 minute appointment. Patients of her should beware and look at their medical bill. She was also rude and I agree with the other reviewers condescending.

My daughter was taken to the ER due to excessive vomiting & stomach pain. Dr. Ammoury was the G. I. Specialist on call. I must say I am impressed, she did an amazing job caring for my child. My daughter was having extreme anxiety about her hospital stay and medical condition. Dr. Ammoury had an excellent bedside manner, she held my daughters hand and discussed her treatment giving her both good news ( she will likely avoid surgery), and bad news ( she will have to stay in the hospital a few days) in a way that was comforting. Dr. Ammoury even made an additional trip to see my child because she knew she was comforted by her visits. I never felt rushed when asking questions. She spoke directly to my child and answered all of her questions. Dr. Ammoury was very thorough with everything to include treatment, medications, consult with her primary G.I. Specialist, release instructions etc.

Dr. Ammoury was very condescending and I didn't believe the comments mentioned here at first but after meeting her with our my child, I do agree that she does not take the time to listen to my concerns and has already decided she knows what my child has without listening to my full history. She also billed my insurance for more time then she spent with me. I would request a copy of your medical record to see how accurate she is really documenting.
