Dr. Randall Jay Casper, MD

When I'm at Urgent Care I feel people waiting is in a very difficult situation. As I was referred to go to Urgent Care I was struggling with major illness. Dr. Casper was excellent, going through my recent medical tests, really listening to me, looking me into my eyes as I was having hearing loss. He gave me a new prescription and it began helping the first day. He was very supportive of my upcoming appointment with my primary doctor. I give him an Excellent for really being friendly and listening to me. Thanks Dr Casper.

He ignored every word I said, his 'exam' was to feel through 4 layers of clothing from behind to feel my ribs (he just pinched them repeatedly and ignored that I was in severe pain) and when I requested to remove my sweatshirt he acted startled and refused it. He claimed to have looked at my stomach and ribs in his notes, commented about both being normal (unless he believes he has x-ray vision which is possible with his lack of care and common sense) and yet he was too scared to even let me remove my sweatshirt so he could at least feel where the pain is located. I was there for severely debilitating and spreading rib pain. His solution? Ignore it and talk to my primary (she was unavailable for a long time), and take medications that was prescribed specifically for migraines (or increase my dose even though I'd already been taking 1600mg-2000mg at night so I could sleep during the worst of the pain). When I refused that advice (because it's using a drug for the wrong thing and he was… encouraging the abuse of ibuprofen), he told me there's nothing to do and shrugged, claiming it was a side effect of another condition (not even close). Mayo Clinic approved this as their standard of care. Good job Mayo Clinic!

Doesn't take time to listen to his patients, doesn't care about their needs. No trust in him as a Dr
