Dr. Randall Steven Pass

Dr. Randall Pass failed my husband miserably. Over the course of a couple years we saw this doctor he never listened to or cared about my husband's chronic symptoms that we explained in depth. My husband at the time we saw Dr. Randall Pass, was in his late 40's and a life long workaholic; a brick layer. Repeatedly we told the doctor it felt like someone was reaching in and ripping the veins out of my husband's arms. Severe, dehabilitating pain. We begged for tests. Randall Pass shrugged it off as normal arthritis and very reluctantly ordered a test for arthritis. In what world does a life long manual laborer in his late 40's NOT have arthritis? Of course he had normal arthritis just as anyone else would. The problem is, normal Osteoarthritis, which is what he diagnosed my husband with, doesn't make it feel like someone is ripping the veins out of your arms all day every day. The doctor didn't care and prescribed Aleve. He would not listen to the symptoms or run a different test to find… out why my husband was in such pain with his veins/nerves in his forearms. Years later, we finally were able to see a different doctor. The new doctor LISTENED to the symptoms and CARED. He immediately ran tests for Carpal Tunnel and nerve tests. With the new doctor, my husband was diagnosed with severe Carpal Tunnel in his right arm and extremely severe Carpal Tunnel in his left arm. At that point, the nerve damage was so severe that Carpal Tunnel surgery was not an option anymore. I cannot express how much Dr. Randall Pass failed my husband. We all understand that lots of people lie to doctors about having chronic pain. We were not and are not that type of people and it was obvious. Had Dr. Randall Pass CARED and put himself in my husband's shoes for even a minute, he himself would have ordered every test possible. But he didn't. Now we are left to wonder what could have been if he had ran tests and caught the Carpal Tunnel before my husband's nerves were destroyed and beyond surgical repair. My husband is 53 years old now and can't hold a cup without dropping it. Can not hold a steering wheel to drive. Can't hold a phone to talk on it. His hands are numb and don't function. We described all the early symptoms of this to Dr. Randall Pass and he over looked it all. If only we had known back then, if only we had had a doctor that cared. Not every patient that tells their doctor they have pain and very real syptoms, is lying.

Dr. Pass came into my hospital room after I had my daughter and held her like she was his own. He talked to my husband and I like we were family Everytime we saw him. I have NOTHING bad to say about him. I was sad when we moved because we had to find a new doctor. My daughter is 10 years old now and we have NEVER had a Dr as great as he is. If you want a fantastic doctor go see Dr. Pass!!

My husband saw Randall Pass for two years. For two years we told him at every single appointment that my husband is and has been in terrible terrible pain for years. We explained the pain in detail and he never tried to do ANYTHING for my husband! Recently, we started seeing another doctor and my husband was immediately prescribed an anti-inflammatory pill for Arthritis! We begged Randall Pass to do something (anything!) for the excruciating pain, he never did anything to help. He never cared that my husbands hands and fingers were drawn up like claws in the mornings and every morning I had to forcefully pry his hands and fingers open for my husband. He never cared when my husband explained that it felt like someone was ripping his veins from his arms and and lega and that the pain was horrible. He never cared enough to try anything. For two years, my husband continued to suffer when ALL he needed was an anti-inflammatory medicine for Arthritis. That's it, that's all. Now that my… husband sees a different doctor that cares and prescribed him the Arthritis medication that he needed YEARS ago, my husband has his life back, no thanks to Randall Pass because he never even tried to help fix the problem. All that was needed was an anti-inflammatory medicine, but he never received the care he needed with Randall Pass.
