Randell C. Alexander, M.D., Ph.D., is a University of Florida professor of pediatrics and a board-certified specialist in child abuse pediatrics at UF Health Jacksonville. He serves as associate program director of the Pediatric Child Abuse Fellowship training program. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and completed a pediatrics residency at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Years ago this man made a custody recommendation that my 5 year old son would go with his alcoholic and violent father. My son was severely abused by his father leaving many emotional scars. Alexander knew of the risks and did it anyway. He should have his licensed pulled.

Dr. Randell Alexander has shown very poor knowledge of current medical research. His diagnosis is reflective of his ignorance concerning up to date medicine. Our family has personally had to deal with the challenges reflected in his misdiagnosis. Dr. Randell Alexander though for the most part accepted by his peers has had some challenges with his patients. I would not recommend this doctor.
