Dr. Randolph Bruce Linde, MD

Dr. Linde truly is a master at his craft. Many years back he diagnosed me with Diabetes, and we discussed options. My blood sugar came in at 930, and Dr. Linde told me that I was lucky to have come in for an appointment. In addition to the high blood sugar, I was diagnosed with vision issues, multiple body aches, chest pains, and in addition, I was peeing every 30 minutes, like no body's business. He immediately got me in touch with a Diabetes Educator who taught me how to give myself insulin injections. I stayed in touch with Dr. Linde, or I should say he stayed in touch with me, and within three weeks or so all of my issues corrected themselves, thanks to the insulin injections and visits with Dr. Linde. Dr. Linde was right on with his course of action, and had me try out an insulin regime that he thought was best. It worked beautifully,.. brought the blood sugars down slowly and effectively. I regained 20 pounds of lost body weight over time, and was able to regain a… normal life. To Dr. Linde...I owe a great deal of gratitude....Thank you Dr. Linde !!!

This doctor should not be practicing medicine. He might be a suboptimal advisor to some organization but not interacting with patients. Sure, as others have mentioned, he preaches weight but does not communicate with patients well and certainly seems to resent doing so. He does not think past the mimicking PAMF protocol presumably and pharmaceutical rep parroting. He does not think for himself and does not seem to understand the relationship between insulin resistance, thyroid, and weight loss. He lacks compassion and in addition to his incompetence he lacks patience. I will not be going back to this doctor. I do not need the aggravation. I have known doctors who are at the top of their profession worldwide. Linde is at the bottom. Don't go if you are diabetic. You will be frustrated. God forbid if you email him through the Pamf system. He has a low tolerance for communication

I went to Dr Linde for Diabetes and overweight. As soon as he came into the room he asked me "tell me why you came to see me?" I started. He cut me out after 5 words, probably my words were not to the point. He asked what's your list of concerns. I said weight and morning blood glucose. He then lectured me for 30 minutes about available groups for weight loss. He acted pretty violently when I tried to inject a word. When he finished lecturing he got up and left.

I came to dr. linde with a referral as an expert. I was expecting that he would be ordering some more detailed tests that my normal physician said he would be doing and asking me in more detail about my issues. To my surprise, our conversation started with diagnosis based on tests done 2 years ago. AFTER his diagnosis, he asked me to tell me my side of it. I did. he basically suggested i go to support groups etc. I was shell shocked! Not what i was expecting from an expert after waiting for 2 months for his appointment. Seeing my surprise, he asked me what was going on in my mind. Politely, i told him, i was expecting him to order more detailed tests, looking for other factors as explained by my physician. He asked me if i am suffering from depression, and if i can fix my attitude!!!

Takes the time to explain details to you, wants to know about the overall quality of your life and stresses that may play a role in your diagnosis. Has always followed up with me to check on how I'm doing. He's pleasant to deal with and not at all cold or impersonal.
