Dr. Randy Ian Pardell, MD

I and my husband saw dr. Pardell for over 20 years! He is the best dr. you could ask for. He is extremely empathetic, friendly, and intelligent! He knows everything about meds. You couldn’t ask for a better dr. We had to stop seeing him a couple months ago as we just couldn’t afford him anymore! I miss him! I miss his expertise! I miss everything about him. He is truly the best and top Dr in NYS. I’m a mess now but trying with another dr. I want dr Pardell!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Pardell for many years. I was under the impression that he was true to his word and kind, compassionate and understanding professional. After completion of my therapy with him, and also being told that I was welcome to call and see him as needed. Quite to my surprise I found him untruthful to his word. Upon discussion he apologized to me which still made me feel that I could still not relate to him. Was he truly the parson that I had seen in the past especially when I needed him the most?

I went through psychoanalysis in Manhattan, with the head of the Columbia University Psychiatric Institute, and so have extremely high expectations. Dr. Pardell exceeds them. I have been seeing him for therapy for 2 years. He is brilliant, creative, and a warm, empathetic psychiatrist. He also stays on top of the latest developments in the field, including psychopharmacology.

The office is freindly, comfortable, welcoming and judgement free.Iâ??m not terribly experienced with doctorâ??s offices, but I would be hard-pressed to believe thereâ??s any place much better then here.

Dr. Pardell is the best psychiatrist I have had in over 25 years of being treated for bipolar disorder. He was my doctor for 7 years when I lived in Poughkeepsie from 2000 to 2007. His command of psycho-pharmocologically was unmatched. He was always up on the latest research and was prescribing cutting edge meds like Abilify and Seroquel years before they hit the main stream. Of the 20+ psych professionals I've seen during my life, he was the most compassionate, most competent, most calm, most normal. When I became very ill, he worked with my family to provide great care - taking their calls and calling them to make sure I was doing well. Cannot recommend him too highly.
