Dr. Ranjana Sharma, MD

I have gone to Doctor Sharma for a couple years and have always been very satisfied with the care and attention that I have received.

I am grateful to Dr Sharma. I am so glad she was recommended to me. Surgery was as she explained. She is thorough and has good bedside manner. I felt she spent time with me & explained everything well.

I been with her just because I don't know what I was thinking , she treat patients ilness very lightly I know how I feel I know there is medication to treatmen me but she tries not to prescribeprescribe. now because of her not taking care in the fist place . im suffering infection with fever of 105. And forget about urgent care app the same day. She is the only doctor in her office no other doctors are available. Poor Service. The only option is washington urgent care and wait for about 3 hr.

To be very honest, Dr. Sharma herself is a polite person, but over all my experience of going to that clinic was so so bad. I have been going to that clinic for a bit more than a year now, always when I call, they put me on hold for twenty or thirty minutes and I am not able to make appointments for my family in three four days. They are really not cooperative. My wife had to do physical check up, and she had some kinda rushes on her hand at that time, Dr. Sharma told her that she will not see her rushes because she is here for physical only and my wife needs to make another appointment for those rushes. I mean I know we live in capitalist society and materialism is our main theme of life, but after all we are human being too, and we can never deny this fact. I mean with making money, our approach should be humanistic and we should sensible about serving the humans too. The front desk people are not doing a good job, it seems like they have many patients and they are applying… that Demand and Supply approach there in their clinic. I will not refer Dr. Sharma and her front desk in my whole life to anyone. Now they have done the blood test of my wife, I am not able to make appointment for my wife now so that she can go there and have the results discuss with the Doctor, I mean this is totally ridiculous to be honest. They got absolutely no sympathy and respect for humans, they only care for money. I am so sorry I seem so hateful but that is exactly my experience with this clinic.

The front office person Lavanga, is really rude and shows no compassion whatsoever. I quit seeing Dr Sharma because of her bad attitude. She should not work in a doctor office. She makes the doctor look bad.

I went to Dr.Ranjana Sharma for my wife who has serious breathing issue and our previous doctor said that my wife had low thyroid hormone.Once her medication was over, we went to consult Dr.Ranjana Sharma. We explained her about my wifes health condition. In spite of telling her the serious problem with wife's breathing , she kept saying that it could be due to stress and problems in personal life. Dr.Ranjana did prescribe for blood test and she did not give medicine inspite of numerous requests for the same, so at least until we the blood test is done my wife will some respite. I have seen by wife struggling for breath rolling over the floor desperate for air. But Dr.Ranjana did not take this seriously. And we again went to her with the blood test report and report clearly said that my wife is low on thyroid and again she did not give her any medicine. Dr. Ranajana was of the view that she wanted to wait for two months to review her situation. Then with no option left and with my… wife's situation worsening, we decided to consult another doctor. After briefing him with wife;s health situation , he said one thing. Given my wife's health condition, if my wife conitbues like this with out treatment it could prove fatal to my wife's life. He asked for what reason Dr.Ranjana wanted to wait? Wait for my wife's death?" The new doctor clearly said there is something wrong with my wife. We are glad that we consulted a doctor who is at least wiling to listen to us and act on it.BTW our current doctor is Dr.Khalid Beig and he is very well known and well respected doctor in Fremont. Dr.Ranjana was very desperate to meet her next patient and she cut short her schedule with us.I wouldn't recommend a doctor who is not ready to diagnose a patient properly and who is not willing to spent sometime to listen to my problem to have a proper diagnosis.I would never go to Dr.Ranjana. This is my review ever about a doctor and I can't help but give this negative review about Dr.Ranjana.

She's been our doctor for years and always goes out of her way for us. She is my kids doctor as well and for both kids she was there everyday at the hospital earn they were born to support me and check on my kids. She spent as much time as I needed even after the check up was done. She's great!

I wil not recommend this doctor. The office staff was ok..but the Nurse was rude and unfriendly.Doctor was unfriendly too.. she was in such a hurry that she gave me hardly 10 mins. n she asked me which medications currently m taking and just increased the dose. She did not do a through dignosis. I later had to find another Doctor.

Dr. Sharma always asks about topics that other doctors never did, such as when was my last eye exam. She keeps track of when vaccines are due, and knows the latest recommendations for screenings and other health maintenance practices. I never feel that she rushes me in order to be able to see her next patient.

My wife had an appointment with Dr.Sharma for 2 specific problems. After the usual delay in the waiting room, the Doctor diagnosed one problem. When we asked for a diagnosis for the 2nd problem, she brusquely asked us to fix a separate appointment for the problem and left the room without another word. This is highly unprofessional & borderlines the unethical for a doctor.When we asked the front desk, they said this was because of insurance reasons. If they had the professional courtesy to tell us either when we fixed an appointment or at the time of checking in, it would have helped us. We were forced to seek another doctor who was more professional. Fortunate though this happened, since our overall opinion of Dr. Sharma is low. She is good for colds and flus, but not for more serious ailments.
