Really bad experience. I never saw him again.

Dr. Davis and his staff made me feel welcome from the start. They had my paperwork prepared and were very interested to see me. Dr. Davis explained my MRI in detail and explained my treatment options. I was assured that his experience and expertise would be exactly what I needed.

Recently had spinal and vertebrae surgery. (Only a week ago . Had no pain immediately after surgery and took only over the counter pain reliever. Home for a week and able to get about with a walker. Will see a PA tomorrow (make sure fusion is doing okay. Also able to get out with husband driving.

The Best spine surgeon on LI. Caring , knowledgeable and skilled!!!

I called the office and tried to make an appointment 2 weeks ago. The receptionist told me that I needed an MRI taken before even seeing Dr. Davis. I explained that I have titanium hardware in my spine and that an MRI wasn't possible since they don't allow it. The receptionist said that xrays and bone scans would suffice. I had bone scans and X-rays taken just to book an appointment. Today, I am told that I need a ct scan before booking an appointment. Both trips and bills to radiology were pointless.

I was very disgusted with his bedside manner.Did not take me seriously & laughed in my face when I pointed out what was on my several MRIs,pain I have, & what was written on my documented reports stating my severe back issues.Thank god he was just a 2nd opinion.Every other dr & surgeon that I saw previous,saw my serious issues with my back.This so called Dr was a joke.Was a complete waste of my time.This poor excuse should retire, he obviously cant handle the surgery I need & relies on his assistant to determine what people need.

The receptionist's in the RIVERHEAD office should be sent to class on being happy and being nice to people. They might do their job but there is no spark or friendlyness going into that office. You might think it would be me but I'm very observant and they treat some older people in a very condescending way ! Its like you are almosypt making them work when you walk in the door.

Very attentive and smart.
