Dr. Raul Yambing Mendoza, MD

Dr. Raul Mendoza has been my doctor for over ten years. My first visit, I was a mess! Even though my visits are fewer, he helps me when panic/anxiety attacks hit, which are under control. Dr. Mendoza is kind, patient (no pun intended ??), polite, he listens to what I need to say, asks the right questions that I might not have given thought to...I’m thankful my God led ne to this doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr Mendoza for years and he is a wonderful understanding man!! His staff is wonderful!!

I was referred to Dr. Mendoza by my GP once my issues exceeded her scope of practice. She told me that he was by far the best in town. I made an appointment, he adjusted my meds and recommended a therapist that was affiliated with the practice (whom I highly recommend). I continued to see Dr. Mendoza for around a year or two. My situation and symptoms worsened, there were several adjustments, increases, and changes made to my medication. Instead of re-evaluating my diagnosis he just continued increasing my dosages. Eventually, as my situation became unbearable, I admitted that I was feeling suicidal. He increased the frequency of my visits for both himself and my therapist. Shortly after this, he made a statement that was totally unprofessional and for the most part discharged me. All I wanted was help, I wanted to get better and he dropped me while I was still suicidal. Needless to say, after that visit I found a new doctor.

After hearing what a great doctor Dr. Menodoza was, I switched from another PDOC in the same office to him as the other doctor put me on a medication I should have NEVER been put on and was also put on a HUGE dose that was unnecessary (per Dr. Mendoza) & caused a horrible reaction to my body...anyway, saw him one time, he switched my meds, seemed nice, visit was short only 30 minutes...said I was most likly bipolar as the other doctor had diagnosed...when I came back for the follow up visit I told him the meds were not working and I didn't feel like I was being diagnosed properly...he agreed and said he wasn't sold on me being bipolar either but couldn't help me. All in about 5 minutes. Really? You can't help me and you figured that out in 5 minutes? Or is that it irritated him that I said I wasn't diagnosed properly? Referred me out & didn't want to treat me anymore. It was very upsetting and it made me feel like a total whack job....long story short, it was my birth control… making me nuts. These are suppose to be professional doctors and no they are not OBGYN's but should know that hormones can cause woman to be whacky...I suffered for two years and had to be embarressed and told I was bipolar when in fact I am NOT. I'm great now and feel wonderful. Just thought that he was very insensitive to my feelings, what I was going through and had no desire to help me at all. On a better note, my friend sees him and absolutly loves him. To each their own I guess.
