Dr. Veeraswamy sat down and asked me what questions I had. He spent as much time with me as I wanted, answered all my questions, never made me feel rushed, and explained in detail what was wrong with me. This was a wonderful change from my other vascular surgeon.

Arrived at MUSC art 1pm for two tests that took 20 minutes total. Waited to see Dr. No Show for 2 hours and three Dr's who looked 12 walked in room and said Dr. No Show had to leave for a 911! What a joke. The whole process was a joke. I was told everything looked good but they wanted to do another test on the upward flow of blood! OMG Why wasn't that done while I sat there for 5 hours??? When I walked in the lobby lights were off and I forgot my keys. Nurse let me back in and the 3 young Docs who were supposed to be discussing next steps were already gone! LOL Such a scam...don't waste your time on Dr. No Show.

My long-time physician referred me to Dr Veeraswamy for a carotid surgery. After operation, my family requested to speak with him but he never came. I had a breathing complication and spent a few days in the hospital. He never visited. The residents came but not my surgeon.

Dr Veeraswamy repaired my carotid aneurysm - it was apparently a complex and rare condition. He thoroughly answered my questions before and after, and took great care of me throughout the process. I'll be forever grateful!

He explained to me about my oversize aorta aneurysm and that it needed to be taken care of soon.He tried to qualify me for a clinical trial of a new proceture, but my aneurysm was to big. After I didn't qualify he never contacted me again. I call his office many times and his nurse always said he was in a meeting and would get back to me.After 2 months of trying to contact him I found another surgeon who proform the operation and saved my life
