Dr. Ravinder Kumar Agarwal, MD

I met with Dr Agarwal twice. During my first visit I was tested for allergies. It was determined that I did not have any. My issue was attributed to the blood pressure medication I was taking. I was given a new prescription. After I began using the new medicine, the chronic cough I was struggling quickly with went away. During my second visit Dr. Agarwal explained to me the type of blood pressure medication I should avoid. I really appreciate his prompt attention to my problem. I feel so much better.

I have had allergies all my life and was just looking to get a simple allergy test to find out what the actual root cause was, Dr. Agarwal seemed rushed and generally uninterested in my case. While waiting for results of skin poke test I was given a paper and told "read this". After the test was read he pointed to several paragraphs in the paper and said read this this this and this and walked out of the room. Additional testing was done and he came in to explain options. After he was finished he just got up and left to which I asked "Are we done here then?" Most other physicians would have shaken your hand and thanked you for coming to see them. And likely explained that you can get back in touch if you have any further questions etc. Overall if you do not want to be just a number I would look elsewhere.

Was given 3 different test with 3 different results. Was told that the tests could not be conclusive because of false positives. One test required 3 different visits to the office and was charged copay for each visit.
