Dr. Wertheim has retires -- so sad! He is wonderful !!!!!!!!

This office operates like a well oiled machine. If your appointment is at nine - you can be out the door by 9:30. Everyone is prompt, efficient and extremely professional. I've been a patient for over 30 years, live 2 hours away but would never consider another practice. His expertise and knowledge of women's issues is cutting edge he has a well earned reputation of excellence in his field.

This is a wonderful doctor. I would recommend him to anyone. He is caring, thorough and a nice person. His office staff is always kind as well.

Our daughter was visiting a friend for the weekend in Virginia and ended up in the ER very I'll with a complicated and rare medical situation. We just plain lucked out that Dr. Wertheim happened to be called and ended up performing emergency and follow up surgery. She's still very I'll but not for the lack of amazing medical attention. Thing is, we are from Philly surrounded by excellent docs. However, it is very rare to find a doctor who is both extremely skilled with his hands but equally so with his heart. The dedication, compassion and above/beyond care he has shown us is hard to describe. I have never met a doc who calls worried out of town parents at 1am after a full day or surgery and deliveries and spends an hour explaining and reexplaining everything. Who takes the time to properly coordinate and army of docs and nurses to ensure complete patient care even when on holiday. No matter what happens to our daughter (and we pray she will be well), we are on our knees with gratitude… to have been given Dr. W to care for her because no doc could have done better medically and few could match his bedside manner. Forever grateful and hoping he never retires.

I have known, trusted and put my care in the very capable hands of Dr. Ray Wertheim for over 23 years now. He delivered both of our children who are now 22 and 17. He cares about his patients on a level that you don't get from most doctors. He's concerned but reassuring when there are out of the ordinary situations. My Mother, sister, sister in-law, best friend....they all have entrusted their care to him too!I recently learned he is still working very hard, dedicating his personal time to learn new procedures all to benefit his patients. I have been a nurse for 27 years and you just don't run across a lot of docs that are as committed to their profession and to delivering the BEST care they possibly can for their patients!!
