Dr. Raymond Manohar Anchan, MD

I have a genetic condition that puts me at risk for a certain cancer. He told me he knew about the condition when he didn't. He then ordered the wrong MRI for me that was supposed to check for the cancer, but it didn't. He lied about the mistake, and did anything he could to get me to go away. The radiologist who signed off on the report confirmed that the MRI did not address the area at risk for cancer. Also I had surgery and a post-op infection- but this is not the problem. He put me on the wrong, expensive, broad spectrum antibiotics without even culturing the infection. Then I had to change antibiotics, which combined with the first round, wiped out most of the normal bacteria in my system. This led to a secondary massive kidney infection because my system was so wiped out and at risk. Again he wouldn't admit to his role in this and swore the kidney infection wasn't related to my long use of prescribed antibiotics. In short, he's like a car salesman. Good at talking to people… and telling you what you want to hear. Doesn't tell the whole story about what happens during surgery. Looking back, I'm not even sure I really needed that surgery. Absolutely will not accept responsibility for mistakes.

I've had my period for over 30 years, never any major issues then this past May I ended up admitting in the hospital. Couldn't figure out what was wrong. They thought it was a cyst but after opening me up realized I had pretty bad endometriosis. I was told my I should have a hysterectomy. I was very nervous since it was al happening so fast and I'm only 41 didnt really want it. Thankfully I met with Dr Anchan and he is giving me options!!!! He was so kind, welcoming, funny. He made me so comfortable! I would recommend him to anyone I know that had endo.

Typical wait was at least an hour. No office follow-up, no documentation of allergies to medications. Horrible experience with whole office.

dr anchan was the best. he was very kind and answered any questions that my husband and i had. i was late one day and he waited for me and when i got there late he offered to make me a cup of coffee. he listened to the concerns i was having and was reasuring by sending me to see any speacialist that were better equiped to handle the questions that i ad so i could be sure in my mind that i was doing the right thing. though i have not done ivf and i am not pregnant yet i would def go back to see this doctor again.
