Dr. Raymond Decastro, MD

Dr. DeCastro is the kind of psychiatrist who I need. Too bad he works for FHCP. They are business, policies, and rules over patient well being.

First, this site lists Dr. De Castro as a female. This is not correct. Dr . De Castro is a good doctor because he pays close attention to what you have to say, and he genuinely tries to help you to the best of his ability. He also explains things very clearly and gives you options. He makes sure to include you in your treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. De Castro to anyone especially someone who has never been to a psychiatrist before.

I went and saw Dr. DeCastro after returning from my tour in Afghanistan. Out of several pyschiatists that I'd seen prior to him, he was hands down the easiest and most relatable. I continued treatment with him for several months before proceeding with a medical board evaluation, which led to my retirement. I owe my current success and happiness to Dr. DeCastro and will forever be in his debt.

Dr. DeCastro was the first psychiatrist I had ever been to, so I was nervous about what to expect; however, I felt comfortable with him almost immediately. He shows concern and care, but in a very genuine way. Also, any time I have to contact him by phone, he returns my call within an hour or less. It is difficult to get an appointment with him early on, since he is always booked week - if not months - out; however, as I stated before, if you need anything, he is always just a phone call away.

He's a great dr!!! I've seen several drs for panic disorder and he's by far the best!
