Dr. Raymond Jude Staniunas, MD

Beware! He didn’t sit down and explain all of the options I had, possible complications, or what the recovery time would be. No one called to schedule a post-op appointment with me. I called several times due to complications over several weeks with no response. Finally went to another rectal doctor due to concerns and was told I should have never had the surgery based on where the scar tissue had formed. They said it should have been a last resort. Almost eight weeks later, I am having major issues still, including a fissure and another thrombosed hemmoroid. The doctor should have lanced and not cut or banded any of the hemmoroids I had. I was told that my recovery time would be 7-10 days which I was bed ridden for almost six weeks. My life is awful right now. I’m in constant pain and I can’t sleep. This has been life changing. Do not do this surgery unless all options have been used and do not use this doctor. I am considering legal counsel. .

Dr Staniunas charged me for a procedure he did’t do. For the past 6 months I contacted both the doctor’s office and the billing department about this mistake 9 times. They told me they will take care of it. They never tried to fix their mistakes. Instead they sold my account to a collection agency.

Do not use this doctor. This guy is NOT forthcoming about what to expect after hemmoroid surgery. Dr. S. DID NOT EXPLAIN, the agony and discomfort that would occur after surgery. Did NOT call to check on patient or return 2 urgent calls for help. What kind of doctor does NOT check on his patient, after an agonizing surgery? NO return calls, when his patient is in agonizing pain. He is absolutely awful.
