Dr Shah is a compassionate caring physician who take the time to explain everything he does and the implications of the testing and results. He is the kind of physician everyone hopes to see. Dr Raza Shah is a fine physician and retina specialist. Skilled in injections in the eye to treat Wet AMD. Very considerate and responsive.

Dr Shah saw my son who had scratched his cornea and was in a lot of pain. He was so amazing and professional. Within minutes he understood the problem and found a way to relieve his pain all the while working around a very upset 4 year old. He is great with kids and super compassionate. He even took time the next day to check in on my son. I would not hesitate to go back to him and would strongly recommend him to others.

I went to see Dr. Shah after my eye doctor at Wilmer Eye Institute (Johns Hopkins) resigned and they could no longer make timely appointments. The physician's assistant at the Occupational Health Clinic at work recommended Dr. Shah as someone who could see me right away after I went in for an agonizing episode that affected my vision. I brought in my physician's notes from Wilmer Eye Institute and Dr. Shah confirmed their findings. Using the latest equipment and imaging that Johns Hopkins did not have, he made additional observations that Johns Hopkins missed. He is a different sub-speciality than the eye doctor I saw at Hopkins, and informed me about the conditions under which he would refer me back to that same sub-specialty (as opposed to keeping business for himself inappropriately). He is up to sate on the latest developments in the field and answered my questions appropriately about treatments that became available in the United States within the last year. Furthermore, Dr.… Shah was willing to fill out all the necessary forms in support of my temporary disability. he is missed from mid atlantic practice. he left the practice and is missed. he was great with patience, he made you feel comfortable and spent time with you. the other doctors run the practice on an assembly line. sorry he is gone
