Dr. Reagan Banning Anderson, DO

Dr Reagan was one of many Dermatologists giving up a Saturday for free skin screening. I am regularly seeing another doc who saved my life 6 years ago finding a melanoma. Believing that four eyes are better than two, Dr Reagan thought I should get a biopsy on something we have been watching for years. On biopsy it was identified as a neonatal melanoma. It's coming off next week

Such an amazing dr and human being. Very professional. Willing to go above and beyond. Takes time to explain and ease any concerns. I always feel like he cares and he is listening. The staff is also amazing. I can not say enough wonderful things about this practice. Also, Samantha Jordan, P.A. is awesome.

Nearly 6 weeks ago Dr. Anderson did surgery on my back for a positive melanoma biopsy taken 3 weeks before that by an assistant that I liked very much. Wanting to make sure it was all gone I was advised to get more removed as a precaution. The incision was nearly 6 inches long and at lest 1-2 inches deep. He told me it would be a little sore that night. It was very painful and was more than just a little sore. After 6 days I had the stiches removed by an assistant. That night it started bleeding a lot. I called the next day and a assistant told me to just take the steri strips off and put on a bandage and I actually felt like she was annoyed for even being bothered with such a ridiculous question. Needless to say the wound reopened all while the biopsy results took more than 3 weeks to return. After 5 weeks a scab prematurely fell off revealing a stich underneath. A few days later it was tender to the touch. I went back to the office for a wound check and was told that yes there might… be a stitch underneath my skin but just to leave it and that it wasn't infected. When I said that I had called after the stitches have been removed and it was bleeding and that the lady that I spoke to made me feel ridiculous for even calling I got no apology just a strange look. That evening the wound started oozing pus. I went to get a second opinion from a different doctor the next day and confirmed that yes it was infected and I'm now on anabiotic's hoping that six weeks after I had the surgery my back will finally heal. Maybe Dr. Anderson and his staff are used to doing other things with skin care but surgery I would never ever trust him again nor will I recommend him.

This is a fake review website that's deleted all the negative patient reviews in 2016! It speaks volumes in how dishonest Dr Anderson must be by keeping only the much older reviews that give him a higher rating. This doctor is all about return patients and taking biopsy after biopsy. It seemed every time I went in, they wanted to take another biopsy and do more surgeries. This business is nothing more than a well thought out money making machine. He never spent more than 5 minutes with me. I was given an excision for a mild atypical mole and my new dermatologist said that a surgery (excision) seemed excessive for a mild mole. My new doctor won't remove any of them that Dr Anderson wanted to excise and was told it wasn't necessary at this time. I also don't have to return every 3 months either. There are much more experienced dermatologists out there!

I was very disappointed with Dr. Anderson's approach toward bedside manner. He was very rude and condescending to both me and more shockingly, the two other staff members in the room. He could improve upon his interaction skills with his patients. He seems very knowledgeable but it is hard to trust someone who comes across as uncaring. He must care because of the profession he chose, I only wish it was more evident in his approach toward patient care.

My review may be little unusual. Dr. Anderson was covering for my regular dermatologist who was out of town. I had a significant allergic reaction to my regular doctor's suggested meds. Dr Anderson contacted me very quickly (although it was after office hours). I had a virtual appointment with him (texts and pictures) ... and had an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan that worked. He also followed up each day for 3 days at his initiation. He was accurate, responsive, and caring. Very pleased ... highly recommend based on my experience.

Dr. Anderson is by far the worst doctor of any kind that I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and insensitive. Did not take the time to explain my condition, answer my questions or discuss possible treatment options. Unbelievably poor beside manner. I have never left somewhere feeling so humiliated and angry in my life. I would recommend to no one.

My experience with Doctor Anderson and his staff was one of the best health care experiences I have had. The staff was extremely helpful, my medical issues were dealt with in a professional, informative, non rushed manner, I was given immediate access to the doctor when I had a follow up issue, and the office follow up to my new patient status was refreshing. I strongly recommend Dr. Anderson and the clinic to new patients seeking dermatological care.
