Dr. Rebecca Suzanne Hysong, MD

Dr. Hysong is simply an amazing Surgeon. She is a very Compassionate, and comforting person. So genuine. Even though I sat on the side lines. I was able to watch her interact with my friends family. She explained things completely and with empathy, as if it was happening to one of her own family members. I have worked in the medical field a long time around a lot of surgeons and physicians. She is hands down one of the best.

Dr. Hysong took over my care after I was admitted through the emergency room at Bay Medical Sacred Heart. She was truly a "Godsend" for me. I was minutes away from surgery with another Dr. when she came to talk to us about what might be an alternative solution to my problem--a small bowel obstruction. With her "conservative management" she took over my care for the next three days and I was able to leave the hospital without surgery and without an obstruction. I would not hesitate to return to Dr. Hysong and am happy to recommend her compassionate, knowledgeable care to anyone.

From the moment I met with Dr. Hysong, I knew I was in good hands and everything would be ok. Dr Hysong is very compassionate and compitant. I would recommend her to anyone.

I owe my life to Doctor Rebecca Hysong. Without her correct diagnosis upon my arrival at the ER, I would be dead and buried. She is an excellent surgeon and a wonderful human being, so caring and right to the point. I can not say enough good things about her and I owe her my life.

After waiting for two weeks for an appointment (when I made the appointment the office was told why I was referred and needed an appt. for a breast biopsy)-after arriving and waiting my turn, I was escorted to the examing room and gave my history to the nurse--after waiting for the Doctor the nurse returned and told me the doctor couldn't see me and I had to go elsewhere for the biopsy--why wasn' this told to me when requestinmg the appt--this caused another delay in getting a biposy with another doctor----she never even took the time to introduce herself and was sitting in the roon right next to me---I find this appalling, unethical and rude-- would never use Dr. Hysong again. I have since made an appointment with another surgeon and have had nothing but wonderful care and experiences.
