Dr. Rebecca Leigh Crandall, MD

Dr. Crandall was direct and straight forward which helped me focus on myself. I read some of the reviews that said she was cold, but I was looking for a doctor, not a friend. I need someone to help me through my problems, and her firm yet compassionate demeanor allowed me to make better decisions and help myself. I would highly recommend. Communication was easy and getting my scripts filled was simple.

Dr. Crandall is a caring, compassionate and knowledgeable psychiatrist. She was able to fit me into her busy schedule and has been able to call, text or email me back within 48 hours when needed. She is very accessible.

Dr. Crandall would be perfect for you! she lacks all doctor-patient relationship manners whatsoever. you will feel you are talking to a brick wall!

I stayed with her for over a year for giving her the benefit of doubt but I have just had enough of her conduct. She seems temperamental and totally disinterested in the care for her patients. She doesn’t return call for days, leaves town for weeks without any notice or backup and doesn’t bother to return calls from pharmacies either. On top she doesn’t know her craft very well.

Dr. Crandall really helped me. I've been to a ton of psychiatrists in my life and she was the first one to correctly diagnose and treat me with the correct meds. All I can say is a miracle. I'm so thankful.

Dr. Crandall is fantastic. She is direct, forthcoming, and incredibly knowledgable. She listens to my concerns and works with me. She truly wants to help and decrease my symptoms. She is empathic and supportive. I have yet to meet another psychiatrist who matches her.

Stay away. Psychiatrists are blunt, I understand that. But Rebecca is cold, the least from compassionate and will put you down EVEN WHEN YOU'RE UP. If you don't want to be provoked, do yourself a favor and see someone else.

It is unbelievable to me that "Dr" Crandall is allowed to practice anything. She is the most unprofessional, brusque, condescending, cavalier and rude medical worker I have had the displeasure of meeting. I left the appointment feeling worse than when I arrived.

I have been seeing Dr. Crandall for about one year. My last psychiatrist saw me for 10 mins and just gave me a prescription. Dr. Crandall takes much more time and listens carefully. She always remembers what we discussed before, even from a long time ago. I had a lot of difficulty with medication side effects but she was always responsive and we finally found a great med regimen for me. I am so much happier and I was able to transform my life. (I found some these other comments curious: you can hear some mumbling from the waiting room at times but by no means can you hear the conversation. ) Dr. Crandall gets to the point and is very knowledgeable about medications as well as other healing modalities, including meditation. She even taught me some techniques! I highly recommend her.
