Dr. Rebecca Adele Millius, MD

Dr. Pierce has relocated from the Boston area where he has been an Orthopedic surgeon at Harvard University Health System in addition to his private practice in general Orthopedics in Winchester, north of Boston. Dr. Pierce completed his undergraduate and medical school education at Harvard University and did General Surgery internship and residency at UCSF Moffitt Hospital in San Francisco before returning to Boston to pursue Orthopedic training at the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Program which included chief residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as Orthopedic Surgeon at Fort Leonard Wood Hospital. In his 30 years of active practice, Dr. Pierce has covered the entire spectrum of orthopedic specialties and surgeries. He cared for all age groups from pediatric to geriatric and was known in his community for problem solving, good communication with patients and families and complying with evidence based medicine. He has maintained his …original 1977 Board Certification status from the ABOS with recent re-certifications in 1998 and 2008.
In his practice with Rebound, Dr. Pierce will be primarily involved in the office practice of orthopedics but will have a close relationship with all of his fellow orthopedic and neurosurgeons. He prefers a patient focused style and will continue to see all aspects of orthopedics and all age groups.
Dr. Pierce has relocated to the Portland/Vancouver area to be closer to his two daughters and twin grandchildren. He has many interests including vocal and instrumental music, gardening, cooking, and many outdoor sports including windsurfing, kayaking and hiking.
