Inconsistent and poor customer service from the office staff although the Doctor is decent. I was turned away from my appointment for being two minutes late today. My wife is out of town and the babysitter was running late. I called on my way to the doctor (when it was safest because lunchtime traffic was heavy) that I was running a little behind because of the babysitter situation, they virtually gave me a time limit. The office is 20 minutes from my house with lunchtime traffic. Apparently, this type of treatment isn't uncommon from the office staff. My wife said the staff delighted in a gentleman who forgot his paperwork for an appointment and they said if he could get it done by the minute his appointment started he could be seen, if not he had to reschedule. She thought it a little sadistic considering the office is treating human beings with all kinds of possible issues. Sadly enough, the appointment I missed, I tried to switch. By my daughter and I had appointments with the… office the same week. My daughter had an appointment on a Monday (the day my wife flew out of town for business). My wife could have watched my daughter while I was at my appointment and the Wednesday appointment could have been for my daughter since she is a toddler and I needed to be there for the appointment anyway. They wouldn't swithch, my daughter couldn't have come along to my appointment. I had to contact my church to find a babysitter for my daughter since all my family are half way across the country and the only other babysitters we have are high schools students who are at school during the day. As far as rescheduling goes, there is a lot of inconsistency as well. My daughters follow up to her appointment is scheduled for a month from now, but to reschedule my appointment I would have to wait until the doctor gets back from her leave in 3 to 4 months from now. Same Dr? Not sure the staff up front knows that the doctor saw us both, but they just lost two customers, not one, especially after how I was treated today. Abruptness, condesencion and utter inflexibility. Now I just wonder how much the missed appointment fee is going to be.
