i would like to know where this (Doctor) got her licensed to practice

"Dr Tolby" is the worst dr ever. It's shocking! her beside manner, she never treats her patience with respect, patience or any empathy. She's also lat by hours; she never calls you back. She's horrible!

After moving to Grand Junction in 1997, I spent two years trying to find a doctor who had the slightest clue about my illness (fibromyalgia) before one of Dr. Tolby's patients recommended her to me. Because of the idiocy and ignorance of the medical profession regarding my condition, I had been living in agony and exhaustion and was just about at the end of my rope. Dr. Tolby turned that all around, worked fearlessly to find pain medications that actually worked for me and helped me begin to sleep again. She was also genuinely caring. At one point, she went on a 3 month leave; one of her then-colleagues, who was suppose to be covering for her, refused to prescribe my pain medication because he said (before he saw me, talked to me or looked at my chart!), "I don't believe you're in pain; you're just depressed" (I WASN'T!). But he was going to take me off Oxycontin "cold turkey" (while I was on a 4-hour plane flight prior to a two-week vacation!), thus subjecting me not only to the… life-threatening dangers of this practice but also the agonizing pain that would result from not having the appropriate medication. I called Dr. Tolby at him and for the next 3 months she met me at her office whenever needed to write my prescription for me (no charge!) Now that's a doctor who cares about her patients! She was also infuriated with her "colleague". He was a 20-year veteran as an army doctor so you know he hadn't seen many women with fibromyalgia but apparently ignorance doesn't stop some people from being arrogant. I appreciated Dr. Tolby for MANY other things also--bedside manner, time spent with patient, etc.

Dr. Tolby is the smartest doc I have ever had the privilege of working with. She is very caring about her patients. Her memory of what is with me is great. I had a very bad time 8 years ago and she remembers it better than I do. I had renal failure and she was with me and the specialist in the hospital to make decisions in my best interest. She was so good and I came threw it and am healthy in that regard now. She is very knowledgeable and explains things to my level. Keeps me on the straight and narrow with my diabetes.

Dr. Tolby is the smartest, most caring doctor I've ever seen in my 60+ years on Gods Green Earth. She takes the time to get to know you and explain treatments to you. She has surrounded herself with top quality PA's, MA's and office staff. Her charges are reasonable. Heaven help me if I have to move or she retires.

Best doctor I've ever had. Really cares about her patients.
