Dr. Rebecca S Walker has the following 1 specialty
An ophthalmologist has the training to do much more than just prescribe glasses. They are physicians specially trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the eyes and vision. These doctors are experts on the complicated anatomy of the eye and are trained to treat eye diseases through both medical and surgical methods.
Some common conditions that ophthalmologists treat are cataracts, glaucoma, strabismus, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and amblyopia. In addition, ophthalmologists can provide prescriptions for eye glasses and contact lenses and perform LASIK surgery and other corrective surgeries for refractive errors like myopia (near-sightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness), astigmatism and presbyopia.

The staff is professional, but I got tired of being treated poorly by the doctor. I went for a second opinion to find out by the new doctor that my diagnosis and treatment was totally wrong. He agreed that I was not treated professionally. Do yourself a favor and minutes away there is a wonderful group in Lansdale. Dr Schwartz in this group is terrific.
Dr. Walker is impatient, and, she then doesn't like to respond to follow-up questions. She gave me her thoughts, and then she walked out of the room while I was asking a question, and didn't return. I left her practice, and went to see another eye doctor, and related my exact experience. Their response was that, "I worked with her, and she's good at what she does; however, she doesn't have a good bedside manner," which if you have a problem, and you want answers, she's not the one you would want.
Dr. Walker is very rude and condescending. She did not explain my condition well at all and I had to keep asking questions in order to find anything out. Her bedside manner is the worst I have ever seen. I would not trust her to perform any procedure on me as she would probably blame me if it went wrong. That's just the type of person she appeared to be. Very sad that some people think that just because they are doctors they don't have to be nice and that they are better than you are.
