Dr. Rebekah Jean Baumgarner, MD

I (60y/o) had a simple case of pink eye, or conjunctivitis, called dr Baumgarner’s office for Rx . By the time the nurse called back, I told her that I was on the mend, and that my neighbor had given me some medicine . Simple, right, no big deal. We’re not talking Covid, Hepatitis, the flu, etc., just a simple eye infection. Dr Baumgarner called me and proceeded to scold me in a manner I have never experienced from a Doctor. She was condescending, belittling, and simply rude, as if I was a child. She never let up, she was highly emotional and angry. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing from her, so I had to raise my voice in order to interrupt her to tell her “thank you for your past care, but that is the end if it!”, and I disconnected. I didn’t write a review at that time. Then I receive a letter from her office stating that she could no longer provide me with medical care. Highly immature, highly overactive, and operates on emotion. Not the person I want making decisions… about my health.

I have been with Dr.B for almost 20 years. I have never had a problem with her.She has gone out of her way to help me Wheather it be to call me to explain various reports or to refer me to a specialist I tell my friends to make an appointment with her. She is by far the best PCP anyone could ever have

Dr. Baumgarner is a awesome doctor and her staff is really friendly . I highly recommend her, never had a problem with this office. always a pleasure to be there.

She was brusque, interrupted me, wouldn't listen to my explanations of problems and diagnosed me with arthritis in my knee which, when I got a second opinion, was clearly a torn ligament...and she was going to put me on a treadmill! I fired her for her rudeness and incompetence and would caution anyone against using her services.

This was the worst Dr's appointment I've ever had. The doctor was very rude and condescending. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone and will not be back!!!

Too many dropped balls.

This is one of the worst Dr.'s offices Ive ever been to. I was a patient of Dr. Baumgardner for around three years. I tried to stick it out because it is such a pain to switch Dr.'s but now Im so glad I did. They have a policy of NOT filling prescriptions without physically seeing the Dr. which means if your on long-term maintenance drugs your at the Dr. every three months waiting for at a minimum of forty-five minutes to see the Dr. I called for an appointment to get a prescription filled and they scheduled me a full month away from when I placed the call. The staff has NEVER been gracious or nice. They once charged me $25.00 for a missed appointment when it was clearly a mistake made by the office staff who scheduled me two appointments within the same week. They also refused to allow me to see the Dr. without paying the fee when they were responsible for the mistake. Call backs to you were always very untimely usually taking up to two weeks. Plus when refilling my… prescriptions the Dr. never made it clear to the pharmacy that I was to take the brand drug not the generic. I got several refills back with the wrong drug and felt it was a nightmare to get what I needed from them every three months. Don't walk away from this practice RUN!!!!

Once I finally get into Dr. Baumgarner's examination room, and she arrives, things go fairly well. Unfortunately, the staff isn't very good at listening to/for patient needs, and threfore waitseverybody's time having to go back and take care of matters correctly!
