Dr. Rebekah J Woods, DO

One of the few doctors that truly cares and takes the time to help. I had uncontrolled seizures for 20 years. She had a persistent determination to find a successful treatment.

She doesn't like to make you part of your care plan at all she will make all your health care decisions for you without asking how you feel about it and if you refuse she will abuse you by talking down to you and saying you're not complying. I only saw this woman once in person the rest of the time she will have you see a nurse and speak to her nurse to get to her. there is zero personal connection like I've had with all my other doctors. I made a complaint to higher ups for her behaviors and have found other complaints like mine online hopefully her bad treatment is stopped before she hurts someone. It's not okay to make paitences cry during ordered EEG's as a doctor she should know better than to stress someone with epliepsy out run away from this woman there are other doctors within norton that are good just not her!

Dr. Woods rarely sees her patients. I have been seen by nurse practitioners and have had messages and calls returned by everyone else but Dr. Woods. In my opinion this shows little concern for you as a patient. The nurse practitioner checks symptoms, refills medications and you are out the door. This is far different from the level of care that I have received from a previous Dr. who left this practice. I was informed at one of my appointments that this is now a "clinic type" office so you will not see your assigned Dr. If you are a long term patient and are looking for a specialist with a good bedside manner, is compassionate and you don't particularly like being shuffled around and explaining yourself to a new person at each appointment, then I would steer clear.

My daughter was a patient when Dr Woods was part of the Baptist network. Worst office staff that I have ever encountered, and my daughter got worse instead of better. Good news is that she is no longer a patient there and we found that an epileptic diet has helped her far better than all the meds that were tried on her.

Had been seeing Dr Woods for years. She referred me to a relative of hers who was scamming the an insurance company. After I informed the insurance company of this, they made the dr pay me back the money of mine he had been refusing to refund per the insurance contract. After that, Dr Woods behaved in a very unprofessional manner, and kept having her receptionists call me and cancel my appointments I had with her at the last minute and reschedule, only to keep having them cancel and reschedule again. She was obviously upset that I was not going along with her family member's insurance scam and upset that he got caught bcs I called and wanted my portion of my money back after the insurance paid the agreed upon amount. He shouldn't participate in insurance plans if he doesn't want to follow the rules. The visit with him was a waste of time anyway. He does not know what he is doing and is not truthful about his credentials. What upset me the most is how Dr Woods behaved. I had been seeing… her for years. I am still hoping she didn't intentionally put me into such a sleazy situation, but you kind of have to wonder. If it wasn't intentional, why did she continue to refuse to see me? She was either angry or embarrassed. There's way too many unethical drs and dentists out there, just waiting to take advantage of people they think don't know how their insurance plans work.

Don't!!! WASTE YOUR TIME WAITING TO SEE DR. WOODS! Worst experience I ever had with any Doctor.

Dr. Woods is one of the best doctors, in any field I have ever visited. I would recomend her to family and friends.
