She completed her Internal Medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Campus and her fellowship in Gastroenterology at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia Campus, where she also received a masters in patient oriented research. She also completed her Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University Hospital.Dr. Sharaiha is dedicated to putting her patients first. She has a special interest in the endoscopic treatment of obesity and the diseases of the pancreas and biliary tract, …including pancreatitis, fluid collection, sphincter of oddi dysfunction and pancreatic cancer. She is grant funded for trials with malignant biliary obstruction. Dr. Reem Sharaiha was very professional she was careful to examine the information which was given to her and sent me to get a blood test which she call me before I got home to give me the result. I would recommend her as she was very careful to explain how she would procede with my care.
