Dr. Regina Dodis, DO

I love Dr. Dodis. She is a very sweet person. She saved my life by putting me on a very powerful insulin. Thanks Dr. Dodis.

My ONLY complaint is the wait time for an appointment and once you are in the office. Otherwise, SHE WAS THE ONLY PERSON TO FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH ME! She is thorough and understanding. She actually listens and did NOT talk down to me in a condescending manner. I can NOT tell you the amount of doctors that acted like I was psychotic or depressed.

This doctor was awful. She provided no help and seemed as if she just didn't care.

This doctor is absolutely awful. I've been diabetic for 12 years and after numerous awful endocrinologist's, I've never been driven to write a review. I feel like everyone should be aware of the lack of care they will receive if they have Dr. Dodis and her "nurse" consult you. Dr. Dodis met with me one time and only saw me for 5-10 minutes. She said I needed to work on getting my diabetes under control, which had been a struggle ever since I was diagnosed, and changed nothing or advised nothing for me. I saw her for a second visit and the same thing happened. She was a little more forceful on suggesting I get everything under control but offered no advice. I only saw her for 5 minutes, if that. After this visit I ended up running out of insulin twice within a three month period because she would not write a prescription that fit me, and also refused to write me a new prescription. At this point I was completely fed up with the situation so I decided to find another endocrinologist. I… did so and naturally they needed my medical records sent over. It took me over a week to get in contact with Dr. Dodis' nurse after I was repeatedly told that she had my information and would call me back within 24 hours. After finally speaking with her nurse she told me Dr. Dodis would not send a referral to another doctor and that it was not "their job." Out of the multiple doctors I've seen (due to moving and switching from pediatric doctors to adult doctors), I have never had an issue getting a referral. The experiences I've had at this office with the staff and Dr. Dodis specifically have been absolutely ridiculous and I would suggest looking for another doctor before you even make an appointment with her.
