Fantastic docs and staff! Recommend highly!!!!

despite her pleasant manner, good explanations, remembering my medical history, her growing practice has made her less accessible. office manager seems to be part of the problem. what medical practice bills you if you call during off-hours for something too minor? too many unfriendly notices on the walls.

Every time I went to this doctor she found something wrong. I have gotten second opinions and they have not found anything close to what she said she was finding. Also, getting medical records transferred to a different doctor was a hassle and took a few months because they did not wish to honor the request.

Staff were all fabulous. From when you first make an appointment to the follow up. Conscientious compassionate knowledgeable and trusting. Thank you all

I went to her for 2 years and she never understood what I was talking about and I could never understand her. She kept sending me for upper endoscopes every 6 months and I was only 17. She seemed to find new things all the time. Office staff was horrible as well as her office.

Dr El-Shaer takes the time to explains things until you understand what is going on with your health, and is up front and honest in a way that makes you pay attention. I was very nervous about my first visit, but was made to feel relaxed and comfortable. I found the office staff professional and courteous.

I have been to Dr Elshaer after i tried many other gastroenterologists and suffered for a very long time with GI issues.I heard very good things about Dr Elshaer and i was finaly lucky to find her,all my issues are solved in just 3 visits, she is amazing and very caring,very smart too.Don't waste your time looking around because i believe we have the best GI docotor right at Grand street,Dr Elshaer with the most effecient endoscopy unit,nurses and staff.with Dr Elshaer, you are getting the best care.

i had Gi issues for more than 15yr which my PCP and GI couldn't help me with until i saw Dr Elshaer, after only 2 visits,all my issues are solved, i am finally cured ,she is very smart and spend a lot of time with her patients to get to the bottom of the problem,i highly recommend her.

She is wonderful. Very kind and professional.

Dr El Shaer is not accesible to her patients. Have lab tests, make an appt. Need to speak w/ the Dr, make an appt., Pay another co-pay. Policy @ Grand St Medical Assoc, perhaps? - Dr. El Shaer would not return any of my husband's calls. He had 3 appointments in 3 months. It was unnecessary to have him come in when a phone call would suffice. Grand St Medical is only interested in collecting co-pays and insurance money, not in accomodating and caring for patients!
