Dr. Rejane Costa Lisboa, MD

I’ve been a patient of hers for years. She has been a great listener and very compassionate. Dr. Lisboa has helped me overcome many problems that no other doctors could. I have been able to get certain conditions under control thanks to her.

After having suffered for many years with Migraines and trying various types of medication to cure them (including self-injections), Dr. Lisboa explained that what we needed to do was to prevent the migraines from occurring. Many people us Botox to help with the migraines but although we could all use a little Botox, the bottom line is prevent the migraine from getting started. I began taking the medicine Dr. Lisboa suggested several years back. Since that time, I might get a dozen migraines a year, versus nearly a dozen a month. Needless to say, I have great confidence in Dr. Lisboa. She takes her times with her patients and listens to your health complaints. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

I was referred to dr Lisboa by my GP. I had to wait 7 was for an appt fen thugs I suffers a fall that affected my ability to talk and chew. I had difficulty moving my tongue which was significantly noticeable but after dr Lisboas exam she said she didn't notice any abnormality. A subsequent MRI w/contrast detected an injured cranial nerve 12 which affects the tongues movement.

Dr has a strong accent that is hard to understand. also charges $429 for an office visit. When i called their office about the high cost they said it was because i was a new patient. So i ask what would be the cost of the second visit and they could not tell me. so save yourself some time and avoid this money pit.
