Dr Arlow is a true gem! She explained everything in a way I could understand. I had just been told I had breast cancer and I was scared. She told me everything would be ok and that she was there for me and would take of me. That meant a lot. She took excellent care of me.

Great doctor and surgeon! She put me at ease with my diagnosis and helped me thru the process. The surgical result was even better than I could have ever hoped for!

Excellent surgeon, kind, caring and saved my life

After a mammogram and ultrasound, I was referred to Dr. Arlow. 1) When attempting to schedule an appointment, I was told I needed to have a breast MRI prior to being seen. I have a defibrillator/pacemaker due to Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), and my left breast was the area of concern. I advised the office staff I was unable to have an MRI. I was told that she didn't want to see me until she had complete records on me, which included an MRI, which I was absolutely unable to have. They did eventually agree to see me (after multiple weeks) without the MRI. 2) I have a scar from a previous breast cancer. When doing my breast exam, she asked me if that was the incision site that they used to implant my defibrillator/pacemaker. RED flag!! You don't go in through a breast to implant a pacemaker! 3) She referred me for genetic testing at my appointment and when the results came , it was at the height of COVID. I requested a videoconference instead of going in to the office so my… husband could hear the results, and I wouldn't be exposed to any viruses due to the severity of my CHF. She refused the videoconference and I was told she would only review the results in person, face to face. 7 months after having the testing done, the results were never reviewed with me. I received the results in the mail last week to interpret myself. 4) She has no compassion and does not explain things. She is in and out and does not appear to have time for you. These are a few of my concerns.
