I went today on Dec 2nd for a first time appointment with doctor Reno Discala in Ditmars and as soon as I mentioned him that I am taking a daily medication to preventHIV he completly changed his attitude. He said he does not do the tests needed to prescribe the medication for the "treatment" of HIV, specifically mentioning rectum swab, when it is not a test for HIV, but for STDs, and he even slip that he will recommend a mental evaluation. It is simply outrageous that in 21st century, we still have to confront this kind of language and rethoric from someone that calls himself a proffesional of medicine. I will consider filing a NYC LGBT discrimination complaint against Doctor Discala by reporting this conduct to the NYC Commission on Human Rights and the NYS Division of Human Rights.

I've known dr. Fiscal fof8years he's easy to talk with and shows great concerns for his patients. I wish I had met sooner he has solved a lot of my problems.fantastic person.He's more than just a dr. He treats you like a friend.very happy to be with him.

He is very knowable and courteous spends time with you as much as needed and is compassionate and understands what must be done. Thank goodness for doctors like him, I would recommend him highly.

The office staff at the Steinway Street (mount sinai medical group) doctor's office is horrible!!! Horrible treatment to elderly people even with their son present!!! They should learn how to treat people!!! For years they are absolutely rude!!! I honestly don't know how they stay open. I honestly hope they read this!!!
