Waste of time and money, she is not fit to practice oncology medicine

Dr. Borra has a good bedside manner & explains things well. She told us she was ordering 2 tests for my husband with a follow up visit within the next few days. He had test #1 then we never heard from anyone to schedule test #2 or a follow up visit. I left several voicemails with the scheduler & the nurse over a weeks time and no one returned our calls. Results of tests to find out if you have cancer are pretty high on the list so being ignored by the staff is a bit unnerving. I also work in healthcare so I understand the insurance issues or any number of things that come up. Just a courtesy call just to keep patients in the loop would have been better than no call at all.

Every visit I have to correct her on who I am,what the problem is, when the last time I saw her.She does not come in with patient chart,never! Always in a hurry.She also has knowledge deficit on the medications I take.I need to find another hematologist.Checking around town,she has a very poor reputation and I see why now.

She refused to listen to me. All she wanted was to make more appointments so she could bill my insurance!I fired her because I can!Run away very far away!
