I feel the need to write about this amazing doctor and person. I have had the pleasure of being her patient and have found her to be thorough and diligent with my care. Her interaction with me makes me know that she really cares about me as a patient and a person. She is genuine and kind and has helped me so much with my medical problem. I have recommended her to many of my friends and they to have had positive experiences! Thankfully there are doctors like Dr. Umashanker practicing medicine.

Dr. Umashanker is one of the best GI Docs in the country. I can't believe the things people are saying about her. These people are probably miserable patients who didn't get their way. I have family and friends who come from different states just to see her. If I had a family member really ill, they will see nobody but Dr. Umashanker. She will do anything for her patients!!!!

I am writing to express my gratitude for the treatment I have received from Dr. Umashankar over the last couple of years. It is a great feeling to know that I have a truly remarkable doctor and professional that I can respect and trust. She goes out of her way for each and every patient, she spends time listening and addressing my concerns, never does she make me feel that I am not the only one she is treating. I cannot describe how grateful I am for her. Thank you Dr. Umashankar for taking such great care of me. You have a special gift as doctor and as a person.
