has the compassion of a stone, he is not the good doctor that he was in past years. he seems to care about the money

I have brought my kids to Dr. Mejia many times, and my husband and I trust Dr. Mejia to perform our annual skin cancer exams. We have been seeing Dr. Mejia for years. He has helped us with a range of different dermatological needs- from strange rashes to anti-aging skin care to skin cancer. He's performed Mohs surgery on my face and I have really no visible scar at all. Dr. Mejia is so knowledgeable and professsional. I trust all of our dermatological needs to Dr. Mejia! I have referred so many people to him already.

I have been seeing Dr Mejia for 7 years now for a multitude of sun damaged skin problems. I live in Stuart--a 30 minute ride away--but prefer Dr Mejia in Jupiter over any other Stuart dermatology doctor. I was in the US Navy for 30 years and was treated in 1987 for melanoma, squamous cell, basal cell carcinoma, and actinic keratosis. Fortunately, the melanoma has never returned but continue to be plagued with squamous and basal cell anomalies, along with numerous actinic keratosis. The VA takes good care of my non-skin issues, but I only trust Dr Mejia with my dermatology issues. No regrets. None better. At a recent beach outing, I was sure I saw him walking on water. Yes, I'm Irish.

Ignored my allergy to a drug and prescribed it anyway. My allergy to it is so severe it almost paralyzed me the last time. Did not spend much time talking to him but instead was bombarded by "sales people" who were trying to sell me all sorts of services.

What doctor do you ever hear saying those words?!! Yet that is exactly what Dr. Mejia said when he first met me. I appreciated the comment especially as 50 is creeping up on me. I wanted fillers and Botox after having a very dissatisfying first experience with a local female plastic surgeon in the area. Dr. Mejia took a lot of time talking to me and asking me what I wanted. He took even more time explaining the procedures and I felt very comfortable with his level of knowledge and expertise. I loved the superficial numbing agent they use - that really makes a huge difference. You can relax so much more when the pain isn't so exquisite. His technique is exact and individualized. I could tell that he was very confident in his skills in that he was careful but never hesitant. There's nothing worse than a doctor holding a needle in front of your face looking like he's not sure what to do or how to proceed. He makes adjustments as he works like an artist fine tuning his work. He has a very sweet, gentle, positive nature and at all times remains completely professional and respectful. Also want to give a S/O to Eli, medical tech/asst - very sweet and helpful (smart, too!); Daphne, esthetician extraordinaire; & all the office staff who are very accommodating and courteous.

I highly recommend Dr. Mejia and his staff. They are both professional and easy to work with. Insurance processing was much easier than my previous dermatologist experience and the biopsy results came back extremely fast. I've recommended Dr. Mejia to both family and friends and they have had the same experience.

Dr. Mejia is totally professional and takes a real interest in his patients. I am particularly vulnerable to skin cancers and I am totally confident in this doctor and his outstanding staff. His 2 Physicians Assistants have got to be the cream of the crop and they have done numerous procedures and full body scans on me. They both take plenty of time to explain in as much detail as you require exactly what they are doing and why they are doing it.

I was truly surprised by the warm welcome I received when I checked in at the front desk. She was extremely happy and very courteous. The rest of the staff was very attentive as well and polite. The doctor is personable and knowledgeable. I went in for a yearly check up as well as some cosmetic work and was thoroughly pleased with everything. The check out went smoothly and even the follow up call the next day was a pleasant surprise:)This is a practice that has it all, you can tell they love working here and love what they do! Dr. Mejia is a keeper!

My husband and I have been going to this office for over 12 years and we cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mejia and his staff. Dr. Mejia is not only extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, takes the time to listen to our needs. He keeps up to date on technology and offers a wide range of services such as hair transplants, skin cancer treatment and cosmetic procedures. He has high expectations for his staff and only hires the very best. His staff has been nothing but friendly, caring and supportive to us. The office staff always follows-up with us after a procedure and are willing to take the time to answer any questions we may have. Reviews are not something I typically do, but after working with doctors for over 10 years and seeing many for a variety of medical issues I personally have, I am pretty confident that I know a good practice when I see one. I highly recommend them!!!!

Dr. Mejía removed a melanoma on my back.  I was really freaked out, skin cancer at 31 is pretty scary.  My dermatologist recommended Dr Mejia and I'm super grateful he did.  He was very knowledgable, spent time answering all my questions and concerns, and the actual work of removal and stitching couldn't be better.  Came back 2 weeks later to get my stitches removed, he had asked to examine them before they were removed, and actually ended up removing them himself.  Even thought it has not been a  long time, the scar looks amazing, the connection of the skin is perfect and I believe it'll get less and less noticeable (was a 9.5 cm incision)... Best of all No mas Cancer!

my experience with Dr mejia was amazing and my results show. Some are posted on his website, Dr Mejia did a great job discussing my expectations and drawing where I wanted my hair line. The denity was as expected for my fine hair and looks great. More importantly, no one has noticed that I had anything done, only that I look different. He was in the room actually placing grafts himself. I interviewed several doctors and spoke and met with several of his patients to assure the quality of the results. I couldn't be more happier.
