Dr. Richard Alan Lewis, MD

Probably the most abrupt, distant and volatile doctor I've ever seen in my life. Clearly, he is uncomfortable with people. He is unwilling to discuss important issues and dismissive of questions. He spent very little time examining my eyes, and very little time with me at all. On one visit he recommended one type of surgery, and at the next, he recommended another drastic surgery with no explanation for the change. This is not someone I can place my trust in.

Saw 2 other Ophthalmologists who were unable to diagnose whether I had open or closed angle glaucoma. He told me within 5 minutes and changed meds. Now will follow up to see the results soon.

Dr Lewis has absolutely no people skills, or communications skills. He spends the shortest amount of time with his patients and you feel like your issues are not important to him.Except for a few, the office staff has aquired his temperment or people skills. A concerned RN

I'm recommending him to my wife and daughther and anyone else that i think may benefit from his expertise.
