Dr. Richard Steven Bockman, MD

Bad Front Desk and Secretary, non professional, non responsive

I have been a patient of Dr. Bockman for many years. He is as lovely, sweet and patient as he is brilliant. He’s thorough and spends time explaining everything and never rushes you out of his office. I highly recommend this wonderful doctor.

Dr. Bockman is very thorough and scientific in his examination and review of my medical concerns, as well as being patient and understanding. I trust his judgement and I feel at ease when I leave his office.

Knows a lot about osteoporosis, but the rudest, most arrogant doctor I have ever encountered. Look elsewhere.

Dr Bockman was on time, professional and polite. He spent over an hour with me, explained all of my test results, answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. You might have to wait a few months to get an available appointment, I waited 3 months but definitely worth it. I highly recommend him.

Doctor is good diagnostician, caring and professional. Very hard to get through to office by phone. You might have to leave several messages and if, and when, the secretary finally gets back to you, don't expect helpfulness. Doctor and office staff must work as a team and when they don't it might be time to go elsewhere.

Dr. Bockman was highly recommended by my ob-gyn for osteoporosis of the spine. She did tell me that I would probably have to wait quite a while for an appt. and I did - about 4 months but decided to wait to see him as he has a superb reputation. It was well worth the wait.He spent well over an hour with me, his bedside manner was amazing, answered all of my questions and then some, and although I walked in to the appt. quite nervous I walked out with a smile on my face.Would highly recommend, to say the least.

Patient phone calls are infrequently picked up. When calls go to service instead and message is left, patients still need to keep calling as calls are not returned. Unprofessional response when complaints are noted regarding difficulty in getting through to schedule appointments.Doctor was highly recommended but front office staff is a critical component in the doctor-patient relationship.Personally, I will look for another.

Dr. Bockman is a thorough professional. He spends a great deal of time to obtain an in depth knowledge of your medical condition and the specific medical issue which brought you to his office. He is extremely bright and understanding.
