He showed up on my Medicare statement as providing home health services to me twice. I didn't know him. I called Medicare, and let this be a warning, they suggested I call the doctor myself! I never got around to it, but planned on complaining about Medicare to a politician. One day two women knocked on my door. They were investigating Dr. A for fraud. I showed them the statement, and told them what had happened. Of course, they took care of it, and told me to INSIST with Medicare phone people in future. Eventually, I see he got arrested on other charges. I guess the feds chose the best charges they had. I post this as a warning. From what I see on these posts, he lost interest in treating patients years ago. This should be a warning not to keep using an office where a doctor NEVER sees patients, and using NPs an PAs for all the work!
I have been a patient of Dr. Andrews for over a year now but I've actually only seen him on my first visit, after that it was the different NPs. This never really bothered me before, but the current NP, Katoya Lee, is very rude and uncaring. I called to request a refill of my blood pressure medicine, she refused to give it to me because I didn't have an appt. I advised her that I had been out all wknd and my pressure was 172/105. She still refused and told me to get it from one of my other doctors. I don't know where he got her from but he need to send her back!
My daughter was assigned to this doctor and we have never meet Dr. Andrews, she has always seen a PA. They are not through with their exams and they only allow you to address 2 issues at a time. They will fill medications at the office and have you sign a medication refill request letter when you 1st go to the office stating that they only refill medications through the pharmacy. This office wrote a prescription that was 4X too strong for my daughter for blood pressure, thank god I pay attention and was able to tell the pharmacist to call the doctors office to get them to correct it, however they refused to correct their mistake. I would not take my SICKEST or WORSE ENEMY to these people. This office needs to be closed as they do not call back refuse to make appointments in a timely manner and definitely have no clue as to what is going on in the REAL WORLD! STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this office UNLESS YOU ARE TRYING TO DIE!!! -3 out of 4 is the rating that this doctor should have that includes staff he has working for him as well.
