Dr. Richard Royer Costin, DO

No nonsense type of guy. Minimal problems post surgery.

Dr. Costin has gotten me through several significant surgeries over the years. He is as everyone has said, very compassionate, spends a lot of time with you, and even "goes with the flow" when you change your mind about how extensive you want the surgery to be at the last minute. I would highly recommend him if you ever find yourself in the position that you need surgery.

Dr. Costin has, as they say, has a good bedside manner and is a great doctor/surgeon.

I used to work for Dr. Costin back in the 90's and he is the kindest, most sincere doctor that will listen to his patients and treat them with the utmost respect. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Costin was amazing ! I had seen two surgeon's before seeing him and I was loosing hope that no one was going to help me. Two months before seeing him, I had to have surgry to remove cervical cancer, so i had already been through a lot. I seen him on a Friday and he had me in surgry by the following Tuesday, Dr. Costin and his sttaff were amazing to me, I am twenty one years old and found out that my appendix was going bad, five cysts on my right ovary, and also on top of all of that I was told I have endometriosis. Dr. Costin stayed by my side the whole time and is still checking up with me to make sure that Im doing okay. I would tell everyone to go see him, he is a wonderful man.

How else can I say it, Dr. Costin saved my mother's life. What a gifted man. He quickly and correctly diagnosed a rare and very aggressive form of breast cancer in my mother that was spreading quickly. His quick and accurate diagnosis, surgery and treatment has given us the gift of having my mother in our lives many additional years. He was compassionate, knowledgeable and a very good communicator. We hope that others are as fortunate as we were.
