Doctor Devereux is Director of the Adult Echocardiography Laboratory at the Weill Cornell Center of the New York Presbyterian Hospital. He has a long-standing clinical and research interest in cardiovascular connective tissue diseases, and has served as Chair of the Professional Advisory Committee of the National Marfan Foundation. In addition to expertise in all aspects of clinical echocardiography, Dr. Devereux conducts extensive research using cardiac ultrasound and other techniques to improve understanding of hypertensive heart disease, valvular heart diseases, cardiac effects of obesity diabetes, the prevalence and mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases in population-based samples and identify genes linked to and potentially responsible for a spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.

I have been a patient of Dr. Deveraux's since 2011. He is the most knowledgeable dictor on Marfan Syndrome that I have ever met. I have learned do much about my condition from him. I've seen emails about multiple different, non-cardiac, issues, and he has always pointed me in the right place. Im very lucky to have found him.

Dr. Deveraux is the best doctor I have ever had. He caring, kind and so knowledgeable. I could not be happier. He has been my cardiologist for over 12 years.

Having been a patient for close to 35 years , I can’t say enough positive things . He spends as much time as you need to answer all your questions and is easily available . He is my go to point to put me on the correct path to whatever medical situation I find myself in.

Not only is Dr Devereux the finest echo cardiologist he is an incredibly caring physician. This doctor will continue to try and discover the causes and suggest steps to correct. If only we could have all physicians like Dr. Devereux.

He is well informed but does not know how to monitor patients correctly specifically for Marfans Syndrome.
