More about Dr. Richard Allen Douglas
Richard A. Douglas, M.D., FACS, specializing in neurosurgery, obtained his medical degree from Northwestern Medical School and went on to take his surgical internship and neurological surgery residency at Northwestern University. His neurological surgery spine fellowship was at Barrow Neurological Institute, part of St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix, Ariz. Dr. Douglas has had experience as both an instructor and assistant professor at several hospitals, in both surgery and neurosurgery. He has been widely published in professional publications and has made presentations at numerous conferences, speaking in particular on spinal cord injuries. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps.
