Dr. Richard Olin Forsman, MD

Needs reported for prescribing excessive amounts of controlled substances without properly testing and diagnosis patients prior to sending them to the nearest pharmacy with harmful prescriptions and zero education of long term consequences.

Dr Forsman is without a doubt the best Doctor I've ever had. Another Doctor of mine recommended him and I am so glad. I had already learned from a pharmacy family that Internal Medicine Doc's are the smartest and most thorough and Dr Forsman has proven this hands' down. He keeps up on latest research, studies, findings & pharmacy news but isn't fly-by-night trendy like some younger Docs. Dr Forsman is always prompt, caring, respectful and listens to what your questions/concerns are. He takes the time to explain and will even draw you a diagram if it helps illustrate his point. Dr Forsman will also go over your labs & explain why something might be "normal" but may actually not be "good." Most Doctors just tell you your labs are normal & you're dismissed. I am so glad to have found him & honestly hope he never retires. Oh and his staff are all really great. His nurse is really awesome. Regarding the reviewer who stated that drug reps were let in before patients, please know that often… times reps don't even talk to the Doctors. They replenish the sample stock, leave some literature & do a quick comment as they pass the Doctor, "I left you some new..." Pharm reps rarely take up ANY Doctor's time & definitely not Dr Forsman's. IF you do have to wait for this Doctor, take it as a good sign. The time he spent with the other patients, shows that he invests time into his patients and doesn't rush. Also, I have never had to wait over 15 or so minutes.

Extremely patient and hears what your problems are, has more compassion than the majority of Doctors I have seen.

Dr Forsman is an excellent Doctor. He spends time with his patients and his diagnosis are always spot on.

I waited one hour and 15 minutes to get in. Pharmaceutical salemen came and went. His wife works at the front desk and is rude and always was when I took my mother there. They immediately insist you pay before your visit. When I walked out I called and demanded my money back. No problem getting the refund. He may be a good doc but atmosphere and service is horrible. Get rid of the pharm salemen/women and hire a polite receptionist. Found another GP to care for me.

Dr Forsman is the best , he is alway's ready to listen and answer all of my question's, he is very friendly & kind .I will never find another Dr like him . he is so caring , he doesn't make you feel like he's in a big hurry to get you out the door.he is an old school Dr. new Dr's could learn alot from him . I can't say enough GOOD thing's about him ,I'm so blessed to have him for my Dr .

Dr. Forsman exhits great knowledge of medicine and patient care. He is a dedicated problem-solver, and not given to forcing the latest fad treatments on you. His approach is careful and deliberate. His office staff are exceptionally professional, yet friendly and pleaasant. Dr. Forsman is blessed with a special aptitude for treating difficult problems such as thyroid imbalance and numerous other chronic conditions. I wish all medical practitioners worked the way Dr. Forsman does, and I wish they all instilled as much confidence, too.

I was referred to Dr Forsman by a friend several years ago...he is an old school doctor, and by that I mean he is a doctor that still actually listens to his patients, and cares for their well-being. I would recommend him highly, as it is so refreshing to visit a doctor that doesn't rush, and genuinely cares.

I saw Dr. Forsman for many years. I thought he was THE BEST.! While he was away on a vacation, a friend subbed for him at the hospital . The friend was obnoxious, rude. mean. Yelled and screamed at me. I hadto fire him. After that, Dr. Forsman refused to see me again. Dr. Forsman said the other doctor was his friend, and he would stand by him.I was hurt, of course. But, no, I would not recommend a doctor that unstable, as Forsman had become.
