Dr. Richard Paul Frechette, MD

I have been a patient of dr frechette for a long time. All I can say he his a top notch doctor. He treats you like a person not a number. He listens to your problems and concerns and discusses your options. He is the only doctor I would trust with my life. If your looking for an all around great doc look no further. Dr Frechette is great, I'd give him five starts, he listens, explains and is generally affable. The front office is another matter....try calling, and you IMMEDIATELY get put ON HOLD. I've given up and will be looking for another provider. What good is the doc if you can't get through to get an appointment. I've suggested they use voice mail and call back if they're too busy to take incoming calls, but they don't listen......

You almost took my life years back when you told me "I was just a hysterical miscarrying mother ! Had me sign paper work before I was fully out of anesthesia, I have not ever forgot .

This physician has been no less than superb. He is patient and understanding and has excellent medical skills and insight. I am forever grateful to him for his concerned care and thoroughness.

Very knowledgeable and very kind. I haven't ever been interrupted by him. Though he can be abrupt with responses, if you were to just ask him to clarify then he would explain. I don't feel rushed during my times with him but that may be because I get to the point like he tends to. Good staff and always punctual.

I have been seeing Dr. Frechette for a little over 2 years now, and he is the best doctor that I have encountered. I have seen numerous doctors in 5 different states, including many specialists, and none of them compare to him. There have been several occasions where he has either gone back to the office, or stayed late to see me. I swear he is the only doctor that LISTENS to me, and on top of that, I'm treated as a human (which sadly doesn't happen that often when you deal with doctors). Out of the 30+ GP/Specialists I have seen, he is the ONLY one that seems legitimately concerned with my well being, which means alot to me. I told my husband to try him out instead of the other doctor he had been seeing for 5 years, and on the first visit with him, he decided to stick with Dr. Frechette as well. He is very accurate with his diagnosis, and with his prescriptions. The last 3 "specialists" I have seen recently couldn't diagnose me properly, but Frechette has been, and stis still… proactively on top of things by getting tests done and ruling conditions out. I do not plan to see any other Doctor aside from him, so please don't retire!!

My Wife and I have both enjoyed the expertise of Dr. Frechette for the past six years. We are very happy with him and highly recommend him as a GP. He has the experience to accurately access your condition quickly without wasting your time. He is a fantastic doctor.

Dr. Frechette has been my primary care doc for almost 10 years. I have always found him to be thorough and caring. The one time I needed surgical care he got me an appointment the same day with a specialist. Whenever I've asked him a question, he has gone into as much detail as I wish to know, and he has a huge depth of medical knowledge to share -- if you want to engage his intellect. I have never felt like he wanted to rush through an appointment, though like most busy docs he doesn't suffer fools lightly.

I just wanted to comment on Dr. Frechette when he was a resident at St. Clares Hospital in New York. I was a young girl in trouble and he showed compassion to me and above and beyond caring in trying to help me. I haven't seen Dr. Frechette in 26 years, but I will never forget him. I wanted him to know that.

Frechette is in the upper 10% of diagnosticians. Some people consider him abrupt but all you need to do is ask specific questions to get him to reveal his reasoning and alternative diagnoses. His accuracy rate is really quite high and he is quick to suggest specialists when they are needed. This physician has grown in knowledge and skill over the past 20 years I have known him. He is up to date.
