Dr. Richard Terry Gervasi, MD

Whether Dr. Gervasi is competent or not, I have no idea. Nor will I ever know because his front desk team is the absolute rudest, more disrespectful group of individuals I have ever encountered. It is shocking Dr. Gervasi surrounds himself with such an awful team. I had an appointment for my 90 year old father who flew and then drove 2 hours to go see Dr. Gervasi. The office confirmed the appointment several days before our appointment and noted that there would be no email confirmation because "we aren't technologically savvy like that". On the day of the appointment, when we were 30 minutes away, his office called and said canceled the appointment as they could not obtain his medical records from his generalist. No apologies, no explanations. Never again - stay far away. And Dr. Gervasi - time to find yourself a new office.

Dr. Gervasi is a highly professional physician. He takes time to explain any issues he finds and treatments. He is very patient with his patients. When I was hospitalized he was there to answer questions I had. When hospital staff asked me who my doctors were and I mentioned his name, many of them described him as excellent and one said he is a genius.
