Dr. Richard David Guinand, DO

Dr. Guinand cares about his patients. He has always done everything in his power to alleviate pain/symptoms that I might be having, while also figuring out the root cause. As an athlete, I have had to see him on multiple occasions over the course of years and he has always made sure I was ready for the next game/competition. Great doc and an even better person.

Dr. Guinand is definitely one of my favorite doctors. He is patient and takes the time to explain procedures and options to me. I wish more doctors are like him.

This is a great dr, he has compasion for you and tries all ways to get you pain free without surgery if all possible, so far so good with getting injections only needed 2. I am so happy to be pain free right now. Thanks Dr G.

He cured me when others said I needed surgery

Caring, compassionate, thorough, trusting and even funny!

I disliked the fact that he ordered physical therapy without taking xrays of the area first. He seemed hostile, abrasive and unconcerned.

Dr. Guinand, being a D.O. looks for the cause and not just treating the symptoms. He looks for other avenues to try before resorting to surgery. i.e. physical therapy, chiropractic, etc. I am very happy for this, as I prefer no-one cutting into me if they don't have to.

My 12 year old son sustained a serious hip/quad injury at school during recess. I was called to come pick my son up by the school nurse she told me he couldn't walk. When I arrived at school my son couldn't walk, though he broke his leg, was scared to death and in alot of pain. After leaving the school, I took my son to see Doctor Guinand. I arrived at Doctor Guinand's office during his lunch hour (without an appointment) and Doctor Guinand still agreed to see my son. (unheard of these days) Doctor Guinand's professional and caring demeanor immediately calmed my 12 year fears as my son was convinced that his school basketball/baseball seasons were over for the year. My son had convinced himself that he would have to have surgery to fix whatever was wrong with his leg. After a very detailed exam, as well as x-rays, and other tests, my son was treated by Doctor Guinand over the next six weeks. I'm happy to report no sugery was needed and my son had a 100% recovery. I attribute his… quick and speedy recovery to the excellent treatment he received from Doctor Richard Guinand. I would gladly recommend Doctor Richard Guinand to my family, friends as well as complete strangers.
