I feel that Dr Greenberg gave my mother and our whole family false hope. He gave us a 60-70% chance of remission with stage 4 panc cancer for a 77 year old. I feel he wasn’t straight with us from the beginning and didn’t show any sense of urgency. Even 2 weeks before my mother passed, he gave her hope. I will never recommend him. Very bad experience.

I would never recommend Dr. Greenberg for anyone looking for a warm doctor who cares about their patients. He might be knowledgeable, but he’s not very supportive. His office needs to be reminded to do their job as well. You need to be the squeaky wheel to get the proper treatment you deserve as you’re going through enough stress & hardship with cancer. Seek other Penn doctors for the care & support you deserve.

He is extremely well educated, thorough, compassionate and takes the time to spend with you during your appointment to go over and explain all of your questions, in a kind manner that is calming, as well as making sure it is in a layman's terms of understanding. Being his patient going on 19 years, has been not only a pleasure, but included getting me into a Clinical Trial, 5 years into me being with him, that I know extended my life and put me into remission. I would not hesitate in recommending him to any of my family or friends. It is evident, from all the staff at PENN MEDICINE, that everyone there has a very high opinion of Dr Greenberg, and "Oh, he is just one of the best" is a frequently heard comment made from a smiling Penn employee's response to any inquiry about him. I also agree with one of the other ratings, that calls to reach him are returned very promptly, and you are never put through "Outer Space" to get a human back to you that is efficient, as well as pleasant.

my mother is 93 years old and goes to Dr. Greenberg, he is professional, compassionate and one of the best doctor's in hematology

I went to him after I was discharged from the hospital. He was friendly and put me at ease, and calmed me down when I was upset. Anytime I had a question, I would call there and him or one of the nurses would call me back within a half hour. I no longer need to see Dr. Greenberg, but he told me if I have any problems whatsoever, he would be more than happy to refer me to doctor.
