Dr. Richard Hainer has the following 2 specialties
- Surgery of the Hand
Hand surgeons are certified surgeons who are also experts in the function and structure of your wrists, hands and forearms. This allows them to treat arthritis, carpal tunnel, trigger finger and tennis elbow, most of which tend to result from repetitive and excessive use of the corresponding joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Hand surgeons also commonly work with patients who have fractures or broken bones from any kind of accident. If you're experiencing any kind of general pain in your hand, wrist or forearm that isn’t going away, a hand surgeon is probably your best resource.
- Plastic Surgery
A plastic surgery specialist is a physician with extensive training in the execution of plastic surgery procedures.
Plastic surgery is the use of surgical procedures to rebuild or reshape injured or misshapen body parts. Congenital defects, such as a cleft lip or palate, can be corrected by a plastic surgery specialist. Injuries sustained during auto accidents also may require the services of a plastic surgery specialist. These procedures fall under the category of reconstructive plastic surgery.
The other category of plastic surgery is cosmetic plastic surgery. Plastic surgery specialists often perform procedures like breast augmentation, face lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction, and lip injection as elective surgeries for patients who wish to make aesthetic improvements.

I was recommended to Dr. Hainer by a friend for hand pain that had been going on for some time. I was able to make an appointment within in a week and the staff was very friendly and helpful in getting me in in a timely manner. Dr. Hainer was very professional and kind. I found him to be very thorough regarding what was going on with my hand. I do a lot of gardening and use my hands a lot. I wanted to make sure I was choosing the right doctor to get me back to doing what I love. I felt confident in my decision to go through with surgery. I am now 10 months post op and my hand is pain free. I would highly recommend Dr. Hainer.
I am writing this review because my experience with Dr. Hainer and his staff was amazing!! I was initially nervous but was put to ease during our consultation. I had a facelift with some fat grafting and I am truly so grateful for what he has done for me!! Everyone in the office has been so wonderful. I am so, so happy and must say that I would highly recommend him to my family and friends!
I took my 11 year old son to Dr. Hainer for a sebaceous cyst on his head that kept getting larger and gave him a bald spot and an ugly growth. Dr. Hainer was amazing with my son. He made us very comfortable in our decision to go through with surgery with him. My son is now 4 month's pot op from surgery and could not be happier with the results. The kids at school no longer ask him what that is on his head and for that my son is truly grateful! Very confident we made the right decision and chose the right doctor, after many said it couldn't be done until he was 18, Dr. Hainer said he could do it that he did not have to wait...that made my son the happiest kid! I would highly recommend him to family and friends!
I visted Dr Hainer twice, 6 months apart, before scheduling the first part of a two part procedure with him. He was the most definitive of all the plastic surgeons that I consulted,. with direct, and unhesitant recommendations to help me achieve my goals , after a 110lb weight loss that has been maintained more than 2 yrs.
