I was born in New York, went to Brown University for college. After a 6 years hiatus post-college to travel the world, work in a presidential campaign and do research, I attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. I came to Seattle to finish my training in 1986, and I have been here ever since. I am married with two daughters. My wife is a family physician.
